It's an unusual choice, but it gives the N10J a level of performance previously unseen on a machine of this size. However, the extra power is bound to affect battery life. Unfortunately, we had a pre-production unit, so were unable to Asus N10J Notebook out extensive benchmarking.

To get 29 frames per second, we had to dial the resolution down to x, which is close to the display's native resolution of 1,x, and we kept the detail level at medium. Review As netbook manufacturers flirt with larger screen sizes, and generally raise the bar for performance, the Asus N10J Notebook of a netbook is constantly evolving. Its relative heft and less-than-stellar battery life are strikes against, but if you can live with a inch display, the N10J-A2's overall performance and design make it a good alternative to traditional ultraportables that cost considerably more.
Beginning with its glossy taupe lid, silver hinge, and subtly stamped logo, it has a more refined aesthetic than the plastic chassis belonging Asus N10J Notebook other netbooks. To be fair, its hefty shape also makes it look more like a full-size notebook: The glossy taupe continues on the inside, covering the palm rest and even the trackpad and touch buttons.

Above the keyboard are buttons Asus N10J Notebook toggling between high-performance and battery-saving modes, turning the computer on, and launching a draggable zoom box that can magnify on-screen text up to three times. Keyboard and Touchpad The spacious keyboard on the N10J-A2 is among the better ones we've used on a netbook.
The N10 has the form factor of a netbook, allowing for maximum portability, while trying to be a full laptop. It includes switchable graphics to change from performance mode to power-saving mode. It's almost as though Asus has put all of its eggs Asus N10J Notebook a single basket - so the question is, did it break Asus N10J Notebook along the way?
Overall, the N10J is solid with a good deal of flexibility and it contains Asus N10J Notebook swag of useful features that should make it high on the list of netbook choices for those who want a modicum of power and excellent battery life. The design is compact and the use of a high-gloss finish, in a champagne colour, with chrome-effect trim is something you'll either like or loathe.

However, there is no denying the build quality, which is up to the usual Asus high standard. So far I have installed the following on it: One of the things that makes the N10J so interesting is that although it is an Intel Atom N based system, with the associated Intel chip set, it also includes an nVidia Asus N10J Notebook graphic display adapter, and has a Asus N10J Notebook on the side to enable and disable the nVidia. I tested with Windows XP.
